MFA Thesis



Visual Directions: Testing Ideas Through Design Gestures. This exploratory process allowed students to test ideas, experiment with materials, and refine methods through creative discovery.



Course: GDVX 791 Graphic Design and Visual Experience M.F.A. Thesis II: Synthesis and Insight | Winter 2024/25 and Spring 2024



Students developed three distinct visual directions for their thesis, each explored through three unique design gestures, resulting in a total of nine design experiments. This exploratory process allowed them to test ideas, experiment with materials, and refine methods through creative discovery and iterative development.
