Visualizing Core Values

Course: GDVX 789 Thesis I: Research and Discovery | Winter 2024







This project invited students to reflect on their core values and explore how those values shaped their actions, beliefs, and design practice. Through introspection, research, and conceptual development, students rapidly designed a project or research plan that authentically expressed these values, emphasizing emotional resonance and personal conviction. The final deliverable was a 24x36 inch poster manifesto that communicated each student’s values-driven message through compelling visuals and storytelling, with opportunities to include supplemental digital or print materials. The project encouraged iteration, discussion, and critical engagement throughout the process.
